Our Story

It is crazy to think that almost 6 years ago now we met at our local anytime fitness. In that exact moment, we felt something. A connection, something crazy that would bring us all the way here today. Coming up on 1 YEAR!

We live for big smiles and tons of fun. In lieu of a wedding, we thought a fun, family style summer gathering was more us. We care about you all, the people we hold near and dear all in one big place. That is truly what matters to us; unity.

Event Details

  • We'll be at Port Royal Park — a beautiful open green space along the Fraser River. Covered picnic shelter on site, but seating is limited!

    📍 215 Salter St, New Westminster, BC V3M 0G5

  • Summer casual — think backyard barbecue! Breathable fabrics, flowy dresses, polo shirts and shorts. Comfy shoes for the grass. FAMILY

  • Food is provided! A delicious mix of: Sandwiches, Salads, and Filipino Staples

    Drinks are also provided such as Pop, juice & water; BYOB welcome 🍻

  • My loves means the world to me. I respect how hard working, and determined my loves is to build your career and future. I admire how you treat your friends and family by loving and caring for them when they need you most. And I love how goofy and funny you are; always putting a smile on my face and matching my weird energy.

    It is crazy to think that 5 years ago on this day we met at our anytime fitness. In that exact moment, we felt something. A connection, something crazy that would bring us all the way here today. I still get butterflies thinking about that time, and I still get them now when I see my loves. I promise to be your protector, and to not only keep you but to make you feel safe. I promise to be there as a big brother to kids, and love your family as much as I love mine.

    I promise to be patient, and understanding of your bottle business. I promise to love you with everything within me in sickness and in health. Most of all I promise to keep putting a smile on your face every day, for as long as we both shall live.

    In the end I'll probably keep taking a long time to get ready, talking too much, falling asleep on you, forgetting things, and probably many more things that may annoy you. But that's why Batman has Robin, Harvey has Mike, or Maverick has Goose to help them save the day. I realized over time that I was your sidekick, the Beta to your Alpha, so now you know it. I look forward to the future we will build together through anything and everything. You complete me! I love you Loves.

  • As I stand here today, I am overwhelmed by the joy that has led us to this moment.

    We’ve been through laughter, tears, ups and downs, and with each day, my love for you grows deeper in ways I never knew was possible.

    Loves, when I look at you, I see my best friend, my partner and now my future. Today used to mark the day of when we first met 5 years ago at Anytime Fitness, when we were mingling with all our friends before we got food at A&W, but now it’s the day where we become one.

    Loves, I knew it was going to be you back in September 29, 2020… It was the day I felt really seen by you. It was the day we were walking around Stanley Park and you told me all of my allergies. Growing up it was one of the greatest challenges I’ve ever had. I was singled out because I couldn’t have “anything” or I was allergic to “everything.” But you embraced it and cared. With only five or so days of knowing me, you chose to make sure you remembered. From that point on, you made sure I was comfortable and safe wherever I went.

    You never really failed in calming my overthinking mind. You’ve always reassured me that I was enough and that I’m loved.

    You’re so quick to listen when I’m having a tough day. You’d always give me a big hug and tell me it’s going to be okay. And then slowly when I’ve let my guard down, it’d turn into a slow dance where we’re just rocking back and forth.

    You’ve shown me what love is and what it can be.

    So today, I promise to make sure you will always feel seen and taken care of wherever you go.

    To love you, respect you and to always be honest with you.

    To be there by your side when things get rough or uncomfortable.

    To be your partner in every spontaneous adventure.

    To be your supporter and your biggest fan.

    I promise to hold you in the toughest of times and make sure you know that we got this.

    Lastly, I promise to make sure we build a home filled with laughter, love and understanding.

    I love you now and will continue to love you for the rest of our lives.
